Polynucleotides
Skin Injectables

Regenerative injectables designed to support the skin's own repair.
Appointment length: 30–40 minutes
What it is
Polynucleotides are purified DNA fragments injected into the skin. They're designed to encourage the skin's own repair cells, supporting collagen production over time.
Rather than simply adding hydration, they work with your skin's natural processes, so results build gradually over a course.
Options include Vitaran I for smaller areas, Vitaran II for larger areas like the neck or hands, and a polynucleotide plus hyaluronic acid combination for repair and hydration together.
Good for
Crepey or thinning skin
Loss of firmness in areas like the neck and hands
Texture and scarring
Tired-looking skin
What happens on the day
I cleanse your skin and apply numbing cream (20–30 minutes)
Small amounts are injected into the skin with a fine needle or cannula
You'll see small bumps where the product sits – this is expected
How many sessions
Usually a course of 3–4, spaced 2–4 weeks apart, then maintenance every 6–12 months.
Results
Changes are gradual. Many people notice texture and hydration improving within a few weeks, with firmness building after 4–6 weeks. Results can last up to a year after a course.
Downtime
Visible bumps at the injection points for 24–72 hours are normal. Mild redness or swelling is common.

Questions
Are polynucleotides made from salmon?
They're made from highly purified fish DNA, usually salmon or trout. The purification removes the proteins that usually cause reactions, but if you have a severe fish allergy, tell me at your consultation.
What's the difference from a skin booster?
A skin booster mainly hydrates. Polynucleotides are designed to support the skin's own repair processes.
How to book
